Shoddy product with fragile, poorly designed plastic that got advertised as frosted glass and cheap alcohol that probably wasn't given any time to age because it needed to be shipped out ASAP, all for $80. Meanwhile I can go to any other liquor store and easily find a cheaper bottle as low as less than half the price with better presentation and, probably most importantly, better taste. But I guess the liquor store doesn't have the Fallout approved branding, so what do I know? I'm not Todd Howard!

I mean to be fair this thing was just a novelty so you can't really expect it to be all that good.

In my opinion, Death & Co. is an exceptionally tremendous book, but Cocktail Codex is the King of all. The method used to remember any classic using 6 fundamental drinks was brilliant and it totally worked for me. Constantly reviewing the cocktail branch page of every chapter continues to be vital in the memorization and recognition of any cocktail.

The first Death & Co book opened up a dangerous hobby for me. The professional attitude to quality in that book, where the cavalcade of specific brands of spirits and types of ingredients called for is presented as "this way or no way", can make it very difficult to not buy something you recognise from the book if you see it for a good price.

For my families gift exchange we do alcohol, and I thought it would be funny to just buy a bunch of 40s, but I haven't drank a 40 since I was a teenager, so thanks for posting this so I can buy some that people will actually drink haha

Word to the wise, alcohol eats away at plastic, meaning that if you drink alcohol from plastic bottle or in plastic containers like solo cups, you’re ingesting your daily dose of microplastics.

If you truly enjoy an aperol spritz, this might be a poor substitute. I was excited to try this, but it disappointed me. The Miller high life just drowns out too much of the other flavors I was hoping to enjoy. It was still nice to try something new.

Gentleman! This is an Elixer tasting, and you failed to do the two most important things. You didn't gently mix the bottles which will definitely affect the taste of the cocktails, as I would imagine there is tons of settlement in the bottom of the container and you didn't use any garnishes which adds to the aroma and sensory experience when tasting each drink. In my opinion, I would properly redo the tasting. experience again.
